Hedy Lemarr had a scandalous beginning in Czechoslovakia then became a huge star in Hollywood. In her spare time worked on inventions like traffic stoplight and a tablet that would dissolve in water to create a carbonated drink. Then developed a "Secret Communications System" to help combat the Nazis by creating an unbreakable code to prevent classified messages from being intercepted by the enemy. It was the technical backbone for cellular phones.
