My paintings have been featured in The La Times, the John Wayne Airport (2021), exhibited throughout Southern California galleries and corporate collections.
For as long as I can remember art has been my passion. As a kid I remember staying inside to drawing instead of going outside to play. I grew up in Southern California and was known in school as “The kid that could draw”. I studied art and design in college then, worked for an advertising agency, painting in my free time. Then I started my own design firm and was awarded fortune 500 corporate accounts, I still painted on the side but my heart wasn't in the corporate world. So I started painting full time, studying with master painters ˜ and Jove Wang. I took a piece of what I learned from each, arriving at my own signature style.
For the past 14 years I've lived in Huntington Beach, California with my husband, 11 year old son, French bull dog, painting daily in my studio. I love florals, butterflies and landscapes and paint in an abstract, realism style, improvising from from reality. I create a celebration of nature with bold brush strokes and electric color that bring life and vibrance to the rooms they are displayed in :)
