My paintings have been featured in The La Times, the John Wayne Airport (2021), exhibited throughout Southern California galleries and held in private and corporate collections.
Art has always been my passion. As a kid I remember staying inside to drawing instead of going outside to play. I grew up in Southern California and was known in school as “The kid that could draw”. I studied art and design in college then, worked for an advertising agency. Then I started my own design firm and was awarded fortune 500 corporate accounts, but my heart wasn't in it. So I started studying painting with master painters Corrine Hartley and Jove Wang. I took a piece of what I learned from each, arriving at my own signature, style.
For the past 14 years I’ve painted full time in Huntington Beach, California with my husband, 10 year old son and French bull dog. I paint florals, butterflies and landscapes in an abstract, realism style, improvising from from a reality. I create a celebration of nature with bold brush strokes and electric color that bring life and vibrance to the rooms they are displayed in :)
